Robert (“Bob”) Eugene Hammack passed away Nov. 1. He was born Oct. 3, 1948 in Shawnee, Okla., and grew up in Oklahoma City, attending Madison Grade School, Cleveland Elementary, Taft Junior High and Northwest Classen High School. After briefly attending Panhandle A&M on a football scholarship, he transferred to Oklahoma State University, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and active in many campus activities.

The Oklahoma Israel Exchange (OKIE) tempted guests with another creative epicurean celebration of the Holy Land at its fourth Israeli fare + wine pairing event.
John Kennedy’s historic Nichols Hills home served as the perfect backdrop for the festive fall gathering. Before dinner was served, friends mixed and mingled over heavy hors d’oeuvres and libations. Guests savored a 5-course authentic Mediterranean inspired cuisine at the candle-lit rustic farm table seated affair.
